J. C. Long |
J.C. is a 6th generation Kansan who currently serves as Chairman, President and CEO. J. C. graduated from Chaparral High School and the University of Kansas. J. C. was elected to serve 5 terms in the Kansas House of Representatives from 1983-1993 from the 105th District comprising of Harper, Barber, Kingman, and Sumner Counties. J. C. also manages the family farms in Barber, Harper, and Kingman Counties. J. C. was Director of Government Affairs for UtiliCorp United and Aquila Inc. J. C. joined the Bank of Commerce as a Director in 1982; as Administrative Vice-President in 2004 and was elected President and CEO in 2009 and Chairman in 2014. |
Mike Drouhard |
Mike is Executive Vice-President and Chief Loan Officer specializing in ag and commercial loans. Mike grew up on a farm north of Argonia. Mike started his financial career at Household Finance in Wichita and has been with the Bank of Commerce since 1981. Mike graduated from Argonia High School and Wichita State University. Mike also farms and runs cattle in the Harper/Sumner County area. |
Pat Kerschen |
Pat serves as Executive Vice President for the bank and works in the areas of BSA, Compliance, Risk Management and Special Projects. Pat was formerly the President of the Freeport State Bank and joined the Bank of Commerce from the purchase of the Freeport State Bank. Pat was raised in the Garden Plain area and graduated from Garden Plain High School and Creighton University. |
Clint Lawrence |
Clint is a Sr. Vice President. Clint is an expert in home loans, consumer loans and just about any other loan. Before joining BOC, Clint worked at American General Finance in Wichita. Clint enjoys playing golf and fishing with his family. Clint was born and raised in Wellington, graduated from Wellington High School and Wichita State University. |
Curt Clark |
Curt is a Sr. Vice President and is the bank’s primary loan officer in the Harper County area. Curt specializes in agricultural and commercial loans as well as having expertise in all areas of lending. Curt joined the Bank of Commerce from the purchase of the Freeport State Bank. Curt was born and raised in Harper County and is a graduate of Chaparral High School and Kansas State University. Curt is also active in farming and is very active in the Harper and Anthony communities. |
Mary Long |
Mary is the Bank of Commerce’s Chief Information and Technology Officer managing all aspects of BOC’s IT and Vendor systems. Mary has previously worked for the Boeing Company, American Airlines, and the Walt Disney Company. Mary graduated from Afton High School in Afton, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State University. |
Sharon Pryce |
Sharon is the Bank of Commerce’s Cashier. Sharon was the head of BOC’s bookkeeping department for many years. Sharon oversees accounting, HR, record keeping and most regulatory reporting. Sharon graduated from South Haven High School and has an Associate’s Degree from Cowley College in Business. |
Judy Kelley |
Judy is Vice President and Asst. Cashier and oversees the Harper County operations regarding staffing and facilities. Judy loves to bow hunt with her husband. Judy graduated from Chaparral High School and has an Associate’s Degree from Pratt Community College in Accounting. |
James J. Long, JD, LLM |
James is the Bank of Commerce’s legal counsel. James has previously worked for the United States Department of Justice in Tax Enforcement based in Washington D. C. James is currently a partner in the James J. Long Law Firm in Wichita. James is a graduate of Chaparral High School, Kansas State University, Washburn University Law School and has a Masters in Tax Law from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. |
